A UNIVERSE CLOSE TO DISASTER
2049, France has been slow to make its energy transition and has only one year left to ensure carbon neutrality.
You play as the Mayor of La Tranche sur mer, on the island of Oléré, when President François Sarkron publicly announces that all coastal towns will have to take charge of the construction of wind turbines at sea...
Decide on the future of the project and guide the thoughts of your citizens while protecting the exceptional biodiversity of your island.
What decisions are you going to make to ensure the carbon neutrality of the island of Oléré? How do you intend to meet the needs of your citizens?
And above all, which island will you bequeath to future generations?

CHOICES WITH MAJOR CONSEQUENCES
All your choices have a visual impact on the island of Oléré!
During the game, you will have to succeed in:
- Maintaining the favor of public opinion in order to avoid criticism and demonstrations;
- Maintain the biodiversity of your territory under penalty of seeing the disappearance of your ecosystems; - Keep energy as cheap as possible in order to avoid impoverishing your population;
- And of course, achieve the objectives set in terms of carbon footprint for 2050!

PARTICIPATE IN THE PUBLIC DEBATE
The purpose of the game is to allow you to express your opinion in a fun setting on renewable energies and in particular on the construction of offshore wind turbines.
By taking into account the stakes of the various actors impacted by your choices - such as NGOs, fishermen or even inhabitants - you will be able to give your opinion on the best decisions to be made through the game.
The promises given to each citizen will make it possible to understand your opinion on all the issues set out; the decisions to be made concerning the facilities to be built will also allow you to express yourself on a more global choice, taking into account all the different factors of the project.
In order to take full advantage of the experience, it is advisable to play your first game in normal mode, letting yourself be carried away by the story!

Finally, for those who want to replay or make crazy decisions, an alternative mode is available to you, which allows you to play without impacting the debate (not recommended for a first game).

WeKer
The game is developed independently by the WeKer collective, which had complete freedom of writing on the creation of the universe and the scenarios, in order to best present the issues and problems of this debate.
WeKer is made up of two independent Nantes studios: Wako Factory and Eode Studio
